Here we are going to
learn how we can create certificate request in Exchange 2013 version
via Exchange Admin Centre and what error may come with its immediate
solution. In Exchange Server 2013 version we use web-based Exchange
Admin Centre as the GUI for managing Exchange in place of Exchange
Management Console. By doing this there comes a little change in
process for requesting and importing certificates and now file share
and file name is required.

Reasons Responsible for Exchange BKF Corruption
According to the Client-Server architecture, Outlook is an email client that uses MS Exchange as the Server. The mailboxes of all the Outlook users using the same Exchange Server are stored in a database on this particular Server. For proper functioning and better data management, the Exchange Server divides itself into three major components, which are EDB or Exchange Database file – the primary database of Exchange Server, Transaction log, and Live Streaming Media (or STM) file.

Microsoft
Windows facilitates you a built-in backup utility named as NTBackup.
With the help of NTBackup, you can create and maintain the backup of
your crucial files like Exchange Server data on another drive of your
system or on some other data storage media in the form of .BKF file.
However, if your data storage media or hard drive partition is
formatted in FAT file system, then you may encounter BKF file
corruption due to size limit. FAT (especially FAT32) file system
based data storage devices can store BKF file of only 4GB in size and
if your BKF in FAT exceeds this limit, then it gets corrupt and you
may get an error message while adding new data or restoring data from
it.
