The mailboxes of all the Outlook users using the same Exchange Server are stored in a database on this particular Server. For proper functioning and better data management, the Exchange Server divides itself into three major components, which are EDB or Exchange Database file – the primary database of Exchange Server, Transaction log, and Live Streaming Media (or STM) file.
